It's fall and that means that it's time for the annual Silver State Mission Offering. Our theme this year is 'Give'. "In giving you are doing God's work by helping Nevada Baptist Churches demonstrate Jesus' love to children at Vacation Bible School and in their neighborhood." "And whoever gives just a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is a disciple-I assure you: He will never lose his reward!" ~ Matthew 10:42
Calvary Baptist will be participating in this very important offering during the month of September. We will be taking a special offering during both services on September 18th and September 25th; our churchwide goal is $1,500 and the statewide goal is $40,000.
By donating to the Silver State Missions Offering, you’re doing God’s work by helping Nevada’s Baptist churches make Nevada a better place through much needed mission programs. Every dollar you give stays in Nevada to start food ministries, throw block parties and neighborhood events, help Pastors in crisis, minister to refugees, renovate church buildings, and help the unemployed and underemployed.
