The DEP Classes (Disciple Equipping Process) presently consist of eight courses (four core courses and four elective courses); other classes will be added as needs arise. Everyone who is a part of the Calvary family is urged to take all of the basic courses and as many electives as desired. A certificate will be given for completion of the various courses.

DEP 101: "Belonging: Discovering Calvary Church Family"
A basic two-hour course to introduce Calvary Baptist Church and its doctrines, practices, and directions to those new to Calvary. This course is a pre-requisite for church membership. DEP 102: "Detailing the Doctrines of Our Faith"
This 24 week course covers in detail 11 core truths that our Christian faith is founded on. This great class will give you a solid foundation in Christian doctrine. DEP 201: "Growing: Developing Spiritual Maturity"
This four-and-one-half-hour course will aid the participant in establishing the spiritual habits that will ensure growth in the Christian life. Areas such as how to have a meaning quiet time, how to pray, how to meditate on and memorize Scripture, how to handle temptation, and how to live a consistent, Spirit-filled life will be covered in the course. DEP 202: "Digging Deeper into God's Word"
A four-hour course that will introduce participants to Bible study methods that will enhance their study of the Bible. This course will be helpful for all who want some serious methods for Bible study; it ideal also for those who have Bible teaching responsibilities. DEP 301: "Serving: Discerning My SHAPE"
This core course will lead participants to discover the unique way that God has shaped them for ministry. During the course, people will come to understand how spiritual gifts, passion, abilities, personality, and experiences all shape us for specific ministries in the church and community. Following this course, participants will become acquainted and will choose an opportunity to be involved in ministry in our church and community. DEP 302: "Dedicating It All: Your Life Review"
This unique course is a four-week total life discovery and spiritual training process that will refresh your spirit, refine your God-given SHAPE, and refocus your life on the things that matter most. Using Your Life Review material by Eric Rees, this course will lead you into some deep thinking about your life and what matters most. DEP 401: "Sharing: Defining My Life Mission"
This core course will challenge and equip each participant with the inspiration, knowledge, and essential skills to become a world class, on-mission Christian. The course will lead participants to understand why we are to be both mission-minded and mission-involved. Participants will discover tools that will be helpful in their own personal witnessing as well as give them an outlook on world evangelism. This course is a must for all those going on a Calvary-sponsored mission trip.
