“Church Bags”:These loaner bags are provided during all Worship Services for children 4 yrs. & older. The bags contain Bible related activity sheets & items for use during the Worship Services.
Child care class for infants - 3-yr-olds:This is provided on Sunday nights at 6 p.m. as needed.

Music Makers: Calvary's children's choir for 1st- 6th graders. Boys and girls meet together on Sunday nights at 5 p.m. to sing and prepare for special music presentations and programs (classes are not held during the summer).
Kids on Mission Clubs (1st – 6th):Royal Ambassadors (RAs) & Girls in Action (GAs); both offered Sunday nights at 6 p.m. These groups learn about different countries, cultures, missionaries and participate in mission education and action projects (classes are not held during the summer).
Celebration Station:CS is held Thursdays from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. for 1st – 6th graders. CS is an uplifting & hope-filled children’s companion to Celebrate Recovery that seeks to make Jesus the foundation of kid’s lives in order to break cycles of dysfunction & to join their parents, who are participating in CR, to find forgiveness & healing.
Bible Day Camp:Usually held the last week of July for students 4-yrs-old to those entering the 6th grade. Children receive the equivalent of two and a half months of Sunday School Bible Teaching during the week. Daily sessions are held from 9:30 a.m. - Noon at Angel Park. There is no charge to attend & online registration is available (see the link at the bottom of this page).
NBC Children's Mission Camp (for children who have completed grades 3rd- 6th):Currently held at “Cowboy's Rest” Camp facility near Jiggs, Nevada for 5 days & 4 nights in mid July. This camp is open to all churches in the Nevada Baptist Convention. Camp themes and study focus vary from year to year but always include a mission emphasis.
Girls Campout: Held annually in August at Thomas Canyon Campground in Lamoille for women/girls of all ages. Includes: campfire devotionals, singing, s’mores, hiking, fishing, relaxing, and rock climbing.
Trunk or Treat Bible Story Street: Held on October 31st in CBC’s parking lot for children of all ages. Tracts & treats are handed out from car trunks that are decorated with Bible story themes.
Christmas ADVENTure: Held annually during December for children of all ages. Includes Christmas craft and activity booths, family photos, plus dramas and puppets; all focused on the 'reason for the season'.
Parent/Teacher Training:Classes to equip volunteers and parents on how to teach the Bible to children, plus other special topics are provided several times throughout the year by local, associational, state, and national trainers. Individual training resources are also available.
Infant/Child Dedication:This special ceremony is held several times a year during our Worship Services. Parents are invited to dedicate their children to God and dedicate themselves to raising their children to know God. The church family is invited to partner with parents in laying foundations for faith in their children's lives.
Decision/Baptism Counseling:Calvary's Children's Ministry Director and trained volunteers are available to counsel with children and their parents regarding salvation and baptism. Helpful resources for parents and special lessons for children are also available.
Children's Ministry Staff:Preschool and children's classes and events are staffed by Adult and Youth volunteers who assit with prayer, planning perparation, promotion, training, registration, teaching (includes lead teachers, assistants, substitutes, youth helpers, and parent/grandparent helpers), crafts, snacks, recreation, photography, and follow-up. All volunteers complete an application form which is used to submit an online background screening for safety issues/purposes (see downloadable form link which is located at the bottom of this page).
